About The Artist

I was born in Nairobi Kenya, and remained there for many years. Childhood memories of tropical sights and sounds have served to inspire my work.

From a young age when first winning a drawing competition in Kenya, my ambition has been to be an artist.

I studied at Loughborough College of Art and Design, specialising in large, abstract floral paintings in oils. At my graduation exhibition in 1997, I was the winner of the Astra Charnwood Prize and the University of Loughborough Purchase Prize. In addition, I made several private sales and received a number of private commissions.

Since graduating I have continued my art on a part-time basis and have produced in excess of 150 pieces of work, a number of which have been by private commission.

My aim is to provide high quality, affordable artwork which compliments many differing lifestyles. I hope you like my work.
